Mizuno Wave Ultima 11 Amsterdam
The new Wave Ultima 11 Amsterdam running shoe from Mizuno is literally and figuratively art. This official shoe of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2019 was created in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum and was inspired by Rembrandt's The Night Watch. All this in the context of Rembrandt year 2019. On the outside you will find the play of light and dark, while fragments of the famous painting appear on the insole. The Pantone colors of the work are reflected in the Pantone colors of the shoe.

Mizuno Wave Ultima 11
This running shoe is designed for the smoothest running experience and thanks to the Wave technology it gives you an unprecedented cushioning and reactive power. The energy that is released on the ground when the shoe comes down is returned. The Wave plate thus literally functions as a spring for a maximum energy yield.
Dynamotion Fit
The upper of the Ultima 11 is made with the Dynamotion Fit technology, which gives even a better fit than in previous versions. The shoe fits well around the foot but does not limit the freedom of movement so there are no annoying pressure points! The premium insole provides extra comfort, ensuring the chance of irritation is minimal and also ensures that your feet are still firmly in the shoe. Naturally, a good breathable mesh ensures that your feet stay cool and dry during the TCS Amsterdam Marathon.
Familiar feeling with new Wave
The Ultima 11 is based on a fractionally wider platform which makes the shoe more stable. The midsole of the Wave Ultima 11 is, just like the previous model, made with U4iCx foam. This lightweight foam provides a comfortable soft cushioning that perfectly absorbs the impact during landing. Thanks to the elastic capacity of the foam, you will also get energy back with every step, which ensures a comfortable but responsive feeling during handling! The well-known Wave-plate from the Mizuno models is made slightly softer and renamed "Cloudwave". With this change, the stability of the shoe is retained, but the foot rolls more smoothly from the heel to the forefoot.
